i made this exclusively for ~Meepordie who is a close real-life friend of mine. she requested it several months ago, so it's pretty late. but better late than never, right?
anyway, i had a version that had actual sprites in it, but i decided to make the mushrooms myself from scratch. so i made the whole thing from scratch in two or three hours. i'm trying to get back into making stuff again...

thanks for the :+fav:! how i made the swirling thing: first of all, i made it bigger than i needed it to be so that i could resize it to make it look smoother (i really hate jagged anti-aliased stuff). anyway, i started with a square which was half black and half purple and used the distort>twirl filter. then i copied it 18 times and rotated each one 20 degrees more than the previous one (360° ÷ 18 = 20°). so the first frame is left alone, the second is rotated 20°, the third is rotated 40°, etc...
or, say if you wanted 30 frames, you could rotate each layer 12°. it's all in the math. hope that helps. :)
